Owner Surrender Policy

At Street Dogs of Tule Creek, we are dedicated to providing the best possible care and outcomes for the dogs entrusted to us. Due to the high volume of animals we serve and our commitment to protecting the privacy of adopters and fosters, we are unable to provide updates or maintain contact with individuals who surrender their dogs to our organization.

When you surrender a dog to Street Dogs of Tule Creek, please understand that:

•  We will make every effort to place the dog in a loving home or appropriate care environment based on their needs and our resources.

•  No information regarding the dog’s adoption status, new owners, or other outcomes will be shared after surrender.

•  This policy allows us to focus our limited resources on the care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in our program.

•  Feel free to follow our Facebook page to see updates as they happen.

We encourage owners to explore all alternatives before surrendering, and we are happy to provide resources or referrals to support keeping your dog in your home whenever possible. If you proceed with surrender, please provide complete and accurate information about your dog’s medical history, behavior, and needs to help us ensure the best possible outcome.

Thank you for your understanding and for entrusting us with your dog’s care.
